The Macomb County Public Works Office was recently recognized by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Michigan (ACEC/Michigan) with its Surveying Eminent Conceptor Award for a project to siginificantly reduce combined sewer overflows and to improve water quality of Lake St. Clair.
Efforts to keep stormwater from polluting Lake St. Clair with the help of loans managed by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) recently received federal recognition.
